Ceres provides off-shore transportation servicing the USA, Canada and Mexico markets. As a full service transport provider, we utilize our experience, equipment and partnerships to provide a turnkey solution for ocean shipments. Ceres provides engineering for each project in conjunction with Noble Denton guidlines for blue water transport. Calculations are provided for load spreading, lashing and stability to assure safe transport in open sea conditions.
A trip in tow survey is performed for all blue water moves. The 3rd party survey reviews the engineering plans, surveys they tug and barge to confirm all equipment is suitable and in good working order and assigns weather and sea state condition parameters in review with the master of the tug to issue a "sail away certifcate". Ceres also engages a professional weather service to provide real time wind and sea state conditions to assure extreme weather conditions are avoided, keeping the safety of the crew and cargo as the utmost importance for every project.
